As a specialist working in the field of Internet & Network Security, we work in partnership with market leaders such as Checkpoint, Cisco, Websense and Microsoft.  By providing choice and expertise, SP enable our customers to access their IT resources but with the tools to do this securely, protecting company reputation, secrets and overall revenue. Our portfolio of services are ideally targeted towards the mid market sector, where our customer service energy can offer a real differentiator. We are looking to recruit 4 Graduate Telemarketers ASAP. Applicants will attend a 1 day assessment centre  in early August and the successful candidates will be chosen on the day. The office is based on the edge of Reading but close to a train station. REF GI136  

Description:After your initial induction and training programme, the role encompasses day to day pro-active prospecting through our database.  Working through a planned exercise of training, campaign action and follow up, you will learn through one to one coaching and classroom training how to spot and close opportunities.Day to day responsibilities will be following up email and post marketing activities, obtain information around prospect purchasing history, gather correct contact information for further activities and data entry.

Following the initial three month internship, candidates who have excelled will be offered positions within our established graduate training program. This is a twelve month training and development program working towards lucrative career as a network security sales professional.    

  
Main aim of the work:

The main aim of the work is to build a cleaned list of prospect data of suitable companies in the private sector to market and prospect Security Partnerships services to.  If candidates are suitable then arranging meetings for SP corporate sales team will also be included within the role.Principle Duties:

  • Data cleansing of the CRM system
  • Cold calling prospective clients
  • Following up Marketing campaigns
  • Data entry into the CRM system

Essential Skills:

  • Persuasive telephone skills
  • Computer literate
  • Good command of English both verbal and written

Desirable Skills:

  • Driven
  • Motivated
  • Previous sales experience

You will need a degree from a UK university and be willing to work in a fast paced target driven environment.

Our client is a well established PR company based in Reading, specialising in B2B PR consulting.  They are looking for a bright, creative graduate with an interest in technology and social media to join their Reading office in the position of trainee account executive internship (paid). The successful candidate will be tenacious, talented and, above all, a good team player.  Must be have own transport as the office is located in business park that is not well served by public transport.  Immediate start.
