Position: Graduate Web Developer Intern
Duration: 3 months – 4 months
Start date: ASAP
Location: Uxbridge
Aldeburgh Music and Brunel University are launching two new prestigious international music institutes in the coming year. One for Contemporary Music the other for Middle Eastern Contemporary Music.
Both will have active websites at their hub, and the University is looking for a graduate intern who will develop and design two new sites, to run within its own University website.
The website will need to be interactive, and to be able to upload, store, manage and distribute resources-articles, music scores, audio, video etc.
Possible development of forums/live discussion within the sites.
The sites will have editors and curators, but also be open to public access so will need to be designed to suit both constituencies.

Principle Duties
- Design and create websites for both institutions
- To work in association with the Directors
- Develop content in a secure format
- Adhere to internal policy and structure
Essential attributes:
- Logical and analytical
- Ability to work independently
- Problem solving skills
Desirable skills
- Knowledge of web development
- Online content experience
Academic qualifications required
A recent IT / Computer Science or numerical related degree
Good knowledge of Windows XP and Microsoft Office.
